Dear friends of #WheelGymnastics,
Due to the postponement of the World Championships 2020 in the USA, the IRV decided to use the results of the 2018 World Championships in Magglingen to determine the teams for the Team World Championships 2021.
The International Wheel Gymnastics Federation is therefore very happy to invite following teams to the 1st Team World Championships in Leipzig, Germany.
Qualified for the JUNIOR TEAM WC:
- Germany
- Israel
- the Netherlands
- Switzerland & Austria (joint 4th place)
Qualified for the SENIOR TEAM WC:
- Germany
- Japan
- Switzerland
- the Netherlands
The date for the competition is Saturday 15th May 2021, the host city is Leipzig/Germany where the TWC will be held within the framework of the International German Gymnastics Festival.

#About World Championships
The Team World Championships 2021 in Leipzig are the first event of our new event series of Team World Championships. From 2020 onwards, the IRV has its Individual World Championships with more than 120 gymnasts from all over the world, competing in Junior and Senior category.
The Team World Championships is build on the framework of the former “Team World Cup” competition format, where the best four teams compete in 6 rounds with up to 6 athletes for the best score in each round. One additional joker can be used during the competition, to double the points of one round.
